Option B suggests training the team members on the organization's procedures. While training can be beneficial, it should not be the first step in addressing the situation. The focus should be on removing the barriers and empowering the team members to perform effectively.

They are organizational procedures. The only way the PM can do D (remove barriers and empower team) is through B (training team)

Just to say: They may not be org procedures but still. Maybe they are organizational, maybe legal, team, or departmental procedures... we just don't know if the PM has the influence to change them...

Selected Answer: D
D. Try to remove the barriers and empower team members. Bard: "The project manager should first try to understand the specific barriers that are impeding the team's performance. Once the barriers are identified, the project manager can work with the team to remove them. This may involve changing the procedures, providing additional resources, or simply giving the team more autonomy."

option D never mentioned Org procedures. neither did the question. Internal could be team or PMO processes. B is the worst answer because it wont necessarily fix how the team is being impacted.

"Internal could be team or PMO processes". Could. We don't know if the PM has the power to change them or not. Training can help in all possible scenarios

Just adding another thing: The answer C gives us a hint that they may be organizational procedure: "Ask the organization to improve the internal procedures" So is something that the PM can't change. "Removing barriers" may be a lot of things. He may do D by during C or B

It is organisation procedure, PM cannot change, but can educate the team to adapt it by providing necessary training

I think the answer is C because the PM does not have the powers to remove the barriers. He needs organizational permission.
