Selected Answer: A
PMBOK emphasizes that the project manager should make quick decisions and take action when unexpected changes occur, particularly with resources. By taking on some of the necessary work or redistributing tasks among the team, the project manager ensures that progress continues without waiting for external intervention.

Selected Answer: D
The project manager should Register an issue and escalate it to the project sponsor (D). This is a significant event that could impact the project’s timeline and quality. The project sponsor can provide guidance and resources to address the issue. They may decide to hire a new team member, redistribute the work among the existing team, or adjust the project timeline.

Selected Answer: A
When a team member unexpectedly leaves the project, the project manager should take immediate action to minimize the impact on the project. This may involve redistributing the workload among the remaining team members, taking on some of the necessary work themselves, or reassigning tasks to ensure that the project can continue progressing. Addressing the workload and ensuring that critical tasks are still being attended to takes precedence (over other options) to prevent further delays or disruptions to the project timeline. Initially, the focus should be on maintaining the project's momentum by addressing the workload redistribution.

Registering an issue: This is a critical step to document and track the departure of the team member as a project issue. Documenting the issue provides transparency and a record of the event, which is essential for project governance and reporting.

D. Register an issue and escalate it to the project sponsor. By doing this, the project manager is formally addressing the unexpected departure, seeking guidance and resources from the sponsor, and preparing to manage the situation effectively.

Initially I also select A but now i think B is better. We cannot do everything. stakeholders are people being direct and indirectly affected by the project. B is collaborate resolved the problem so B is better
