A both can do D misleading in my opinion. add filter is free, no Class join needed. it is the other way around. when you make a class join, you should need a filter condition to combine 2 class. after all, BC is mentioned in https://academy.pega.com/topic/joins-associations-and-subreports/v2/in/21591
