Which two are true about memory advisors? (Choose two.)
A.
If Automatic Shared Memory Management is enabled, both the SGA Advisor and PGA Advisor are always available.
B.
If Automatic Memory Management is enabled, no memory advisors are available.
C.
All memory advisors use data from Automatic Workload Repository.
D.
If Manual Shared Memory Management is enabled, only the Shared Pool Advisor and Buffer Cache Advisor are available.
E.
If Automatic Memory Management is enabled, the Shared Pool Advisor and Buffer Cache Advisor are available to set the maximum size for these individual System Global Area components.
Note:When you disable automatic memory management, automatic PGA memory management remains enabled by default.
Manual shared memory management mode is intended for experienced DBAs only. Note that in this mode, automatic PGA memory management remains enabled.
If Manual Shared Memory Management and Automatic PGA Memory are enabled, then the Buffer Cache Advisor and PGA Advisor are available.
so, D is wrong , C is correct
D is right.
The Memory Advisors provide graphical analyses of total memory target settings, SGA and PGA target settings, or SGA component size settings. You use these analyses to tune database performance and for what-if planning. Depending on the current memory management mode, different memory advisors are available.
If Automatic Memory Management is enabled, only the Memory Advisor is available. This advisor provides advice for the total memory target for the instance.
If Automatic Shared Memory Management is enabled, the SGA Advisor and PGA Advisor are available.
If Manual Shared Memory Management is enabled, the Shared Pool Advisor, Buffer Cache Advisor, and PGA Advisor are available.
>If Manual Shared Memory Management is enabled, the Shared Pool Advisor, Buffer Cache Advisor, and PGA Advisor are available.
D not ONLY, PGA Advisor are available too
C -true - advisors use data from Automatic Workload Repository, if its available
About Memory Advisors. There is only 4 advisors exist
1. Memory Advisor
2. SGA Advisor
3. Buffer Cache Advisor
4. PGA Advisor
There is no such Advisor like Shared Pool Advisor
C is true.
Many database features such as Automatic Segment Advisor and Undo Advisor need information captured by the AWR. Use of these features, which implicitly access some AWR views, does NOT require any Pack licenses.

Memory advisors: Memory Advisor, SGA Advisor, Buffer Cache Advisor, Shared Pool Advisor, PGA Advisor
Then:
A. True
B. False
D. False
E. False
And then, C True. I think that memory advisors get their input from AWR (at least a part of their input), although the statistics are not optimal in the case that AWR is not updating (STATISTICS_LEVEL = BASIC)
It is very difficult to find detailed information on how the memory advisors processes work !!!
agree, all memory advisors use ADDM (link below)
https://docs.oracle.com/en/database/oracle/oracle-database/19/admqs/monitoring-and-tuning-the-database.html#GUID-EF2702E2-F15E-4CCA-A1DE-B88228B437FD
so indirectly the answer C should be Correct
A - memory advisors are available for ASMM when it is enabled, and it is enabled when STATISTICS_LEVEL > BASIC, so it is correct
B - not correct
C - not correct, advisors are still availabe even in Standard Edition with control_management_pack_access=NONE
D - not correct, the PGA advisor is still available
E - not correct, you can set shared_pool and db_cache_size parameters but they will set the MINIMAL sizes of those areas, not MAXIMUM
... I think the body of answers are not accurate with exam, because in case of D as I've just checked in practice - when I switch to Manual Shared Memory Management - for SGA the JAVA_POOL advisor is NOT available and only SHARED_POOL and DB_CACHE_SIZE are available. Of course still PGA advisor is available, but I assume that on exam the question will be more detailed to limit advisors for SGA only.
So I suppose D has to be correct in exam.
