Data Service IP is used for iSCSI traffic, if the CVM serving the Volume Group has gone offline, the other CVM will pick up the job.

Allow 3205 and 3260 in Firewall for communication between the cluster and clients. Nutanix Volumes uses port 3260, thus, if this port os blocked by the firewall the behavior described above happens.
