An administrator needs to expand a cluster based on AHV and running on Nutanix G5 hardware with a new Nutanix G7 system. The cluster is running AOS 5.10 but the operation fails when expanding the cluster. AOS is running on the new system. There are no issues discovering the node.

A is incorrect, Expand Cluster operation will re-image new node if necessary C is incorrect, Nutanix clusters can support four generations of Nutanix platforms. For example, you can mix G8 nodes in a cluster with G7, G6, and G5 platforms, but not with G4 or earlier platforms. D is incorrect, irrelevant in expanding cluster.
