RF2 is a minimum configuration in a Nutanix cluster. So you can lose all disks in one host simultaneously and it won't cause any data loss. They don't say if this host is in a cluster or not though. It would be clearer if they say "in the same host" instead of "in a single host". But they clearly don't market their product for you to use single hosts, so I suppose they are talking about a cluster. Also Nutanix being Nutanix wouldn't ask a question where you use their product and lose all data lol. I think 0% is the right answer.

When question ask single AHV host, does it mean stand-alone host or in multi-node cluster ? If it is stand-alone, then failing of two HDD storing cold data, will definitely result in data loss. Correct me if i am wrong.

I think the wording is off. Some of us take "single AHV host" and think of their 1-node cluster. But if there 3 hosts, the data is on replicated to at least 1 other copy on the other 2 nodes.

If there is a chance of data loss when two drives on different nodes happen at the same time with RF2, then there is no way A is correct when 2 drives on the same node goes down. So the chances must be 100% = D

Not correct. Answer is A. Default RF is 2 on cluster, so there are already replicas of failed two drives available. So, 0% data loss will occur.
