In the diagram below, a data packet is sent from CE1 to a far-end CE2 over a VPRN service across multiple regions. Which of the following statements about the tunnel labels is FALSE?
A.
The outer label is an RSVP, LDP, or segment routing label pushed by router Core1.
B.
The second label is a BGP label pushed by router RBR1.
C.
The service label is a label pushed by router PE1.
D.
The outer label will be popped by router Core2.
Answer B is the correct. B is the false stetement.
Transport Tunnel is composed by an Outer Label (RSVP, LDP, SR) and an Inner Label (BGP), both are pushed by PE router, so, on this topology. RBR popped the Outer Label and used the Inner Label to forward the traffic to Core1, I think is incorrect say that RBR "Pushed" BGP label, i fact it is only reading/using the BGP Label pushed by PE.
PE1 push service label, 2nd(BGP) label and outer label(LDP/RSVP/SR).
RBR1 and Core2 pop outer label(LDP/RSVP/SR) and swap BGP label (2nd label)
Core1 swap BGP label (2nd label) and push outer label (LDP/RSVP/SR label)
All edge routers (RBR1, Core1, Core2, etc) do swap operation on BGP label (the 2nd label) - so B is FALSE.
