C is correct From field help: 'Purchase Approval Limit' is the amount John can approve when he is specified as an approver. 'Purchase Limit' - is the amount John can spend before he needs approval from a supervisor

Answer still B Correction - The expense approval limit of $50 here means that no purchase request is needed for expenses made by John that are not over $50.

Answer is B As per Approval routing - 'Purchase Approval Limit' means any purchase request above that limit, here its $150, will require a supervisor/supervisors to approve. The expense limit of $100 here means that no purchase request is needed for expenses made by John that are not over $100.
