You are configuring your tape backup software to authenticate to your single-node cluster by using NDMP. Referring to the exhibit, which LIF do you use to connect? (Choose the best answer.)
Here to the rescue:
You must identify the LIFs that will be used for establishing a data connection between the data and tape resources, and for control connection between the admin SVM and the backup application. After identifying the LIFs, you must verify that firewall and failover policies are set for the LIFs, and specify the preferred interface role.
cluster1::> vserver services ndmp modify -vserver cluster1 -preferred-interface-role intercluster,cluster-mgmt,node-mgmt
Since intercluster is mentioned first, choose B.
https://docs.netapp.com/ontap-9/index.jsp?topic=%2Fcom.netapp.doc.exp-ndmp%2FGUID-5F34D85A-75A3-49E5-A9BA-234C51A6EC6C.html
In the exhibit you can see "node-scope-mode" is disabled.
So it has to be set on "svm-scope-mode".
If you have a look at the NetApp Docs for configuring NDMP in svm-scope-mode, they only talk about "cluster management", "node-amangement" and "intercluster" Interfaces.
In the exhibit we have a cluster-management, an intercluster (ic) as well as a node-management LIF ... the question is to "choose the best answer"....
So everything, but not the "data_lif1" should be right, I guess.
Correct answer is B
Verify that every node in the cluster has an intercluster LIF
