Max shelves in SSD loop is 4, we have only 8 SAS ports onboard, therefore we can add only 2 shelves. Ansver is A

agree We have 6 shelves already. So 2 stacks are cabled as we have a max limit of 4 in an SSD stack. Per stack, we require 2 ports per controller, because 1 port for square loop and 1 port for circle loop. As we have 2 stacks, we use all ports (4) on each controller. We can add 2 more shelves to complete the second stack to its maximum of 4 shelves. Graphic: https://library.netapp.com/ecm/ecm_get_file/ECMM1280392 page 33 for example

As you have 2 remaining port on each node. you can add a new stack of 4 shelves for each node so 8 shelves. You can complete the first stack with 1 shelve on each node so 2 shelves. 10 shelves can be added

The LED display on the left shows the shelf ID indicator. You can have up to ten shelves in a stack. For the numbering, the first stack should start at zero, the next stack starts at ten and then twenty and so on.

It says there are 6 shelves, its doesn't mention that 4 of them are in one stack and 2 in another stack. As SSD loop max is 4, we assume we can ad an additional 2 to the existing stack of 2
