https://youtu.be/tKeMF7LlfAQ At 06:25 he explains the active/opt paths and non-opt. paths. According to this video it should be 2 Optimized Paths. From the host to FC Switch 1 plus FC cabeling to the Node is the first Optimized Path. The second to Fibre Channel Switch B to the Node.

For this topology, the answer should be B (2 optimized paths), as the Window host is directly connected to each FC Switch and each switch is connected to Node 1 that hosts the LUN.

B. 2 ALUA optimized paths would terminate on the node that owns the LUN. From the diagram I assume it is node1. Optimized paths: Host-->FC1-->Node1(LUN owner) Host-->FC2-->Node1(LUN owner)

Sorry, the answer is D. You must count paths through HA between nodes as well.
