If Windows users are unable to access the CIFS share, the issue is likely that the volume's security style is set to UNIX, which prevents SMB access. The administrator needs to change the security style to NTFS or Mixed to allow SMB access.

C, Share already created, that means junction path defined. Export policy does not apply for SMB, junction path is. Security Style (mixed) removes the need for user mapping.

Very interesting question - it can be B - if you configure access protocol as NFS only, you need to add SMB. It can be C - you can change security style to mixed. It can be D - you can add user mapping. All three seems correct.

C also seems legit - if you change security style to mixed you can use normal ntfs permissions and you don't have to map windows users to Unix names
