A global organization operates datacenters in many countries. There are private network links between these datacenters because all business data (but NOT metadata) must be exchanged over these private network connections.
The organization does not currently use AWS in any way.
The strategic decision has just been made to rigorously minimize IT operations effort and investment going forward.
What combination of deployment options of the Anypoint Platform control plane and runtime plane(s) best serves this organization at the start of this strategic journey?

  • A. MuleSoft-hosted Anypoint Platform control plane CloudHub Shared Worker Cloud in multiple AWS regions
  • B. MuleSoft-hosted Anypoint Platform control plane Customer-hosted runtime plane in multiple AWS regions
  • C. MuleSoft-hosted Anypoint Platform control plane Customer-hosted runtime plane in each datacenter
  • D. Anypoint Platform - Private Cloud Edition Customer-hosted runtime plane in each datacenter

Correct Answer should be B “There are private network links between these datacenters because all business data (but NOT metadata) must be exchanged over these private network connections.” means privacy is paramount, so they need exclusive/private cloud (eliminating A) “The organization does not currently use AWS in any way.” : doesn’t meant they won’t do in the future. “The strategic decision has just been made to rigorously minimize IT operations effort and investment going forward.” This means they want to reduce in-house cost, moving away from datacenter. (eliminating C & D)

if their network and operations are already on-premises, in many cases keep it there is a decision made to don't increase costs Some companies nowadays are moving away from the Cloud (back to on-prem) to reduce costs.

Selected Answer: C
Answer: C A is out as meta-data should not be shared (as private cloud edition does) D is out as it would increase IT complexity B is out as they currently have no AWS setup and it would also increase costs and complexity

Selected Answer: C
C is cost effective. AWS is out of question as it requires CAPEX to acquire it first

Since they already had Data Centres in many countries and private links exists on their network , Better to go with their Infra as Runtime component and MuleSoft hosted control plane
