You can opt in and configure additional recipients to receive your Azure invoice in an email. This feature may not be available for certain subscriptions such as support offers, Enterprise Agreements, or Azure in Open. 1. Select your subscription from the Subscriptions page. Opt-in for each subscription you own. Click Invoices then Email my invoice.
2. Click Opt in and accept the terms. Scenario: During the testing phase, auditors in the finance department must be able to review all Azure costs from the past week. References: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/billing/billing-download-azure-invoice-daily-usage-date
I think the correct answer is B. Cost Analysis. Invoices are available for a billing period and auditors may not be able to review Azure costs if the bill hasn't been generated yet.
The link in the answer says states one of the reasons of not showing invoices - "It's less than 30 days from the day you subscribed to Azure." It seems checking past week invoice might fail in this case. Cost analysis fits better.
Answer is B
Tried it in portal and below are results.
Go to Cost management --> Cost analysis --> User Date Filter to select dates.
Go to Cost management --> Invoice, it doesn't show there until invoice is generated.
Answer is B
Tried it in portal and below are results.
Go to close management --> Cost analysis --> User Date Filter to select dates.
Go to close management --> Invoice, it doesn't show there until invoice is generated.
Since the requirement does not state that the Auditors need to have access to Azure. They only need access to data regarding expenditure in the last 7 days I'd say that answer D fulfills the requirements and adheres to the security principle of least privilege
subscription--> invoices gives monthly bill/bill
subscription--->cost-analysis--->invoice details--->filter based on dates can give for a defined period of time within a bill. not sure if it include bill for ongoing bill or if we are required to enter a bill info.
either way, you have to click on invoice (even when you select cost-analysis)==> so be it, answer is invoice. This is not a question for an Architect... selection of cost analysis is very valid, but choice indeed invoice
It must be B - Cost Analysis. Invoices has very limited info for any custom period cost analysis. It only provides usage details on a custom period where finance user has to select custom date of usage every time. Where as Cost analysis gives detail analysis view with custom date ranges i.e. last billing period, last 7 days , last month and custom range. The drop down in Cost analysis also let you see the last invoices so even if you user wants to see invoices, he/she can go from Cost analysis. So answer would be B.
Answer is B
WHY
Because even tho Invoices have custom timespan, when you put in dates for a week, the pane would be empty. and also on microsof documentation, it says.
Why don't I see an invoice for the last billing period?
There could be several reasons that you don't see an invoice:
It's less than 30 days from the day you subscribed to Azure.
The invoice isn't generated yet. Wait until the end of the billing period.

So correct answer is B
Somewhat of a trick question. Per the test and this case it’s invoices. However, one may not have permissions to see it. It does exist and I’ve tested it. Assuming the finance dept has those permissions than it’s invoices.
From invoices tab, now there is an option for "Usage Details Download" where you dont need to run invoice period, but you can also check the past 7days also by editing "Time Span with Custom Dates".
Find the below from the invoices tab:
View invoices for your Azure subscription or Reservations and Azure Marketplace products bought using the subscription. To view usage for the current billing period in Cost analysis click here. To download usage for a period, for which there's no invoice, go to the usage download page.
So to answer with latest changes on cost management using "Cost Analysis+Billing" answer should B (Cost Analysis).
