HOTSPOT -
Your company is upgrading to Dynamics 365 Finance. The company has 20 offices in 20 countries. Each office currently uses their own Microsoft Dynamics AX
2012 R3 implementation. Transactions occurring in the systems are high volume. Viewing data from each office requires logging into 20 different AX implementations and takes hours to complete.
You must upgrade to a solution that provides near real-time data refreshes and views the data in a single Power BI dashboard.
You need to implement the solution.
Which technology should you use? To answer, select the appropriate options in the answer area.
NOTE: Each correct selection is worth one point.

Azure WebJobs is deprecated and has nothing to do with d365. In my opinion the right answers should be Azure Batch and Entity Store.

Do you have any links? I thought it was dual-write and entity store.

This shows that Batch framework and Entity Store are the answers. Entity Store enables users to choose “Entites” (E.g. “Customer”) to be moved into the Entity Store. It enables scheduling incremental refresh jobs via the AX batch framework and will pull the data from the transactional database for AX and push the data into the Entity Store database. Since the Entity Store uses in-memory technology build into SQL Server you can connect to it using Power BI direct query to enable near-real time analytical reporting. https://community.dynamics.com/blogs/post/?postid=c84a6a63-3c1c-425a-a6ab-3e6101febfe2

For me, it looks like that for synchronizing data the Entity store is the way to go. Aggregate measurements that are staged in Entity store can be used for near-real-time analytical scenarios where large volumes of data must be explored by using Power BI. Also, it supports Directq uery which is a reporting mode that runs reports directly on Entity store and data isn't staged in Power BI caches. As a result reports don't have to be updated by using Power BI. When Entity store is updated, reports reflect the latest data. This reduces the first question to how the data in Entity store is being refreshed. From all provided answers the Batch framework is the only that fits, since it is updated in D365 F&O.

To achieve near real-time data refreshes and synchronize data for reporting in a single Power BI dashboard, the recommended technologies are: 1. For refreshing data: Dual write Dual write is a feature in Dynamics 365 Finance that enables near real-time data synchronization between Finance and Supply Chain Management and other Dynamics 365 applications. It allows for seamless integration and synchronization of transactional data across multiple systems, providing a consolidated view of the data. 2. For synchronizing data for reporting: Entity store Entity store is a feature in Dynamics 365 Finance that allows you to create a denormalized, optimized database for reporting purposes. It provides a simplified and efficient way to synchronize data specifically for reporting needs, improving the performance and responsiveness of Power BI dashboards. Therefore, the recommended technologies for data refresh and data synchronization in this scenario would be "Dual write" for data refresh and "Entity store" for data synchronization for reporting.

It has to be batch framework because Azure web jobs does its job on azure website in cloud.. The question here is used for AX 2012 when cloud wasn't accessible. So it doesn't make any sense to use Azure webjobs. Azure Web Job is focusing on doing background job for Azure Website. It's working daemon web server farm in cloud. An example is - compress all images uploaded from the webpage.
