Selected Answer: A
The 50% percentile is the median so that's the right value to be reported in a constant line in the graph to visualize what employees are above that median

I have to correct my previous statement. Median line and percentile line are different options in Power BI. But it turns out that the 50th percentile is the same as the median. I think that this hasn't something to do with Power BI anymore, but I have to recall my previous choice. So the answer must be A.

No, A is not correct at all! A median line and a percentile line are two different options! Just look at the "Add further analysis to you visual" tab in the visual properties. The right answer is B

MEDIAN is one single result for a set of different values / observations PERCENTILE is not set just as one single value but it must be set the %, so you can calculate the 10% percentile, the 20% percentile, the 77% percentile.... It just happens 50% percentile case matches the result with median (for the same data set)

50th percentile and median are the same. To confirm, I advise you to setting up a line or colum chart in power bi desktop. 1. Add a median line and set the related "Data labels" to on. Then, keep in mind the value dispayed on the related line. 2. Now, instead of the median line, add a percentile line and set the line to 50% and set the data label on. You will notice that the line will be positioned on the same place and the data label displayed will be exactly the same for both, percentile line and median line.
