Also C is correct but I guess the key is 'The solution must minimize development' so A should be the correct one

I disagree question says "choose between viewing the report as a line chart or a column chart" C gives the user only those 2 options. I guess A does also... this question is tricky... but I think "Minimize dev work" is trying to steer you away from the B and D. I hate questions like these.

Nothing is tricky. Answer is A. It says Column chart OR(not AND) Line Chart... Also, Considering A minimizes everything. A is the answer. Where is the minimal effort in creating another chart, a bookmark and a button?

With option A you allow users to choose any visual and that increases maintenance SIGNIFICANTLY. Correct answer is C. Dev effort for C is pretty minimal.

C can't work, because you need 2 bookmarks not one.

C sounds good for me. In A option you are enabling users to do much more then switching between chart types which is not requaired in question.

Agree, the key detail is "..solution must inimize development and maintenance effort", therefore enabling users is the simplest way to achieve our goal

A is correct because it minimizes development work. B is ugly and no experienced PBI designer does that. C is definitely some time spent creating bookmarks and D does nothing

In my opinion it is C because, by requirements, we need to provide the solution to the final user rather then give him the possibility to build the chart

I believe the correct answer is C. A allows too much personalization and the questions requests just between the two visuals. C is more effort but limits to just the requested visuals so C.

Selected Answer: C
Both A and C work, but I prefer C here because the requirement is to allow users to choose between Column and line charts, so I would rather limit their choice and I don't need to rely on users to customise the charts themselves, they may not know how to.

C is the correct answer. A is not the most efficient solution as it requires each user to personalise visuals.

Correct answer is stated as C but the solution is for option A. A is less development effort so should be correct in this specific instance.

C would work, but I choose A because it states that we want to "minimize development and maintenance time".

Also note that the provided answer even talks about report personalization. It doesn't even pertain to the selection C they provided.
