3. Provided versions 1.0.0.0.0 and 2.0.0.0.0 are both less than 6 months, the version restored by the customer will be saved as version 3.0.0.0.0 which means there will now be 3 versions

Question doesn't say that restoring has been done but that the customer is going through the process of restoring and in that process he will see two versions.

I agree with Libertoo's argument. You start with the original version (1) You then create a new 2.0.0.0 version (2) When you create a restore copy (3) of that (2.0.0.0) version, you will end up with 3 copies in total. The provided answer is incorrect and misleading, examtopics needs to correct this its misleading

I think 2, hear me out. Yes, a customer can restore a previous version of a Power Apps app, but there are some conditions to be aware of. Only the app owner can restore a version of an app. If a customer needs to restore a version, they must be set as the owner of the app. Additionally, you can only restore app versions created in the last six months. The question do not mention granting owner privileges to the customer.

2 IS correct. "Only the app owner can restore a version of an app. To set a user as the owner of an app, use the Power Apps cmdlets for administrators" https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-apps/maker/canvas-apps/restore-an-app

2, because being in the process of restoring it doesn't mean you have already restored it . and as it stands now in the version tab you only see 2, after you restore it there will be 3. But the the answer is 2.

A CUSTOMER CANNOT create new restores. if you read carefully is the customer who wants to make a new restore not the app owner. -"only the app owner can restore a version of an app. To set a user as the owner of an app, use the Power Apps cmdlets for administrators."- ANSWER IS 2. since is the customer who DO NOT HAVE PRIVILEGES AS APP OWNER who wants to make a new restore which will not ALLOW. so the customer will still see only 2 versions of the app. ANSWER IS 2. The answer is in the official doc from the purple notes: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-apps/maker/canvas-apps/restore-an-app

n the scenario you described, where you have version 1.0.0.0 of a published Power Apps app and you create and publish version 2.0.0.0 of the app, two versions of the app are created: Version 1.0.0.0: This is the initial version of the app that you had published. Version 2.0.0.0: This is the new version of the app that you created and published. So, there are a total of two versions of the app. If a customer restores the previous version (version 1.0.0.0), it would replace the current version (version 2.0.0.0) with the previous one.

Answer is 3 : As publish version 2.0.0.0 of the app is there and customer restored the previous version of the app ie version 1.0.0.0. which again create a new version(" ") on restoring.

The question didnt say the user has restored the previous version, it says the user goes through the process, which are two different cases. The answer is two versions as the user will see only version 1.0.0.0.0 and 2.0.0.0.0 (the live version) as the user is yet to restore version 1.0.0.0.0

The answer should be Option C. Three as two will be published and one will be restore so in total 2 + 1 = 3
