I guessed 1 - One per tenant 2 - One per environment I've been using PowerApps/PowerAutomate for years without an environment, only when I had to access Dataverse, did I need an environment.

Regarding 2) You must be using one environment to save Power Automate Flow and Power Apps. Could be the case you are storing these in the Default environment. Without environment flow, apps have nowhere to be saved.

one per tenant- multiple team members can use the same trial instance. When you create a trial instance in Power Platform, you can share it with other users within your organization. One per environment- when you work with data, you need to make sure production is not impacted whenever you change anything in another environment. so at least, make use of 1 database per environment.

This was in the exam March, 2024. I went with the suggested answer, not sure if it was right since my score wasn't perfect

1. one per user, every user needs a trial instance to be able to work in the environment 2. one per environment, you need a dataverse(CDS) database per environment as your environments might differ, also with creating a new environment this is added through the process.

they need to create five trial instances, one for each user, and five Common Data Service databases, one for each environment.

1) One per environment - Creating one trial instance per environment is a common practice because it allows the team to maintain separation between different stages of development, such as development, testing, and production. 2) One per environment - Just like with Power Platform instances, creating one CDS database per environment is a common practice. Each Power Platform environment can have its own associated CDS database( at least three - development, testing, production).

For first, as per "https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/admin/trial-environments" Organization (tenant) admins can enable all users to create trials, or only tenant admins. If allowed for users, any user from that organization who has a suitable license can create a 30-day trial environment. So it should be "one per user"

I'm still in dubio between 'one per user' and 'one per environment' for the first question. The link you gave provides good insights, but also says for the standard trial environment: "If allowed for users, any user from that organization who has a suitable license can create a 30-day trial environment." Which requires a user with at least a trial subscription. But 'one user and one per environment' is not an option here, so I don't know what Microsoft is going for.

A) Each user need Trial (standard) environment, So One Per User. In the question there is no mention of admin role, other wise I would go for Trial (Subscription- based) that would need an admin to control the subscription of users into the single tenant. So I will not go for One Per tenant environment For second, One per Environment is the choice.

1.one per user Each trial instance is associated with a single user's email address and Microsoft Power Platform environment. This means that each person on the team needs their own trial instance 2.one per environment

It should be one per environment for both the options. Second part can be verified by creating 2 different environments and cross checking the data in both the environments( Adding values in one env and checking if it is available in 2nd env)
