Hot Area:

Show Suggested Answer Hide Answer
Suggested Answer:
Box 1: connector -
A connection is a proxy or a wrapper around an API that allows the underlying service to talk to Microsoft Power Automate, Microsoft Power Apps, and Azure
Logic Apps. It provides a way for users to connect their accounts and use a set of pre-built actions and triggers to build their apps and workflows.
Power Automate offers connectors (apps/services like SharePoint, Outlook, /.) and most connectors offer prebuilt triggers that you can use to start your flows.

Box 2: solution -
If you're creating an action to include as part of a solution that will be distributed, create it in the context of the solution. Go to Settings > Solutions and locate the unmanaged solution that this action will be part of.

I guess he meant option B (i.e. option 2) for the 1st question. And option A (option 1) for the 2nd question. which is flow and connector respectively.

CoPilot says - PA Flow and Connectors which is what I chose initially as they just made sense. I am concerned now that whoever is setting the answers for these questions is either not doing sufficient research or deliberately providing incorrect information.

Yes; it's not the first time it's glaringly obvious that it's a wrong answer.

The Power Apps documentation (which the question is about) reinforces the Power Automate documentation (which most people here refer to), adding to the agreed solution that: 1) Power Automate 2) Connector is correct. The flow trigger is 'Power Apps' (a connector), not a specific app (a solution). The flow is then added to the app, and then referred to within the app, not the other way around. Actions and triggers cannot be properties of a Solution. Microsoft documentation explicitly covers what are solution properities. Source: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/alm/managed-properties-alm

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/connectors/connectors Each connector offers a set of operations classified as actions and triggers. Once you connect to the underlying service, these operations can be easily leveraged within your apps and workflows.
