There is only 2 choices here, standard and premium, and the word key is "managed". If Microsoft manages it, it's premium, if not, it's standard.

Teams Rooms Standard and Teams Rooms Premium legacy licenses are no longer available for purchase. Now there are Microsoft Teams Rooms Basic and Microsoft Teams Rooms Pro. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/rooms/admin-center-license-overview

Licenses are now called Basic and Pro. Pro is required for managed services

No, they will not default to basic, you as the Teams administrator need to get and assign the correct licenses to each resource account manually before the expiration date. Also Microsoft dropped their people-based Microsoft-managed service team in Managed Services so this question is obsolete.
