you should use Microsoft Excel. You can download a pre-built template from the Microsoft Service Trust Portal and modify it as per your requirements. Once you have made the required changes, save the template as an Excel workbook file in XLSX format. The file should be uploaded to Compliance Manager in the form of an assessment template. Here are the steps to upload the template to Compliance Manager: Go to the Compliance Manager portal in your Microsoft 365 tenant. Click on "Assessments" from the left navigation menu. Click on "New assessment template" to create a new template. Select the XLSX file you saved as the template and upload it. Give a name and description to the template and click on "Create" to finish the process.
