The two choices that work are platform as a service and infrastructure as a service. I would say infrastructure as a service is correct because I don't believe platform as a service allows you to run VMS inside of your initial virtual machine, AKA nested virtual machines. Infrastructure as a service allows you to run your desired operating system on bare metal which would certainly let us run the Linux VM in question.
