The correct answer is: A. to provide answers to complex queries that rely on data from multiple sources Explanation: The primary purpose of a data warehouse is to integrate data from multiple sources, structure it for analysis, and support decision-making by enabling complex queries, reporting, and analytics. Here’s why the other options are less accurate:

Agree. As per https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/resources/cloud-computing-dictionary/what-is-a-data-warehouse/#data-warehouse-vs-data-lake , it stores structured (relational) and semi-structured data; NOT non-relational data. Hence A is a more logical answer.

Selected Answer: A
The primary purpose of a data warehouse is to provide answers to complex queries that rely on data from multiple sources. A data warehouse is a large, centralized repository of data that is specifically designed for reporting and analysis. The primary purpose of a data warehouse is to store historical data from multiple sources in a single location, in a format that makes it easy to query and analyze. This data is typically read-only, meaning that it is not intended for transactional use. Instead, it is used for reporting and analysis, such as generating business intelligence reports, performing data mining and modeling, and supporting decision-making processes. Data warehousing also includes transforming data from various sources into a consistent format, making it easy for users to query and analyze data from multiple systems.

Selected Answer: A
Answer C is not correct. From Microsoft AZure web site: A data warehouse is relational in nature. This means that the structure or schema of the data is determined by predefined business and product requirements that are curated, conformed, and optimized for SQL query operations. As a result, data warehouses are best used for storing data that has been treated with a specific purpose in mind, such as data mining for BI analysis, or for sourcing a business use case that has already been identified.
