The translator service provides multi-language support for text translation, transliteration, language detection, and dictionaries. Speech-to-Text, also known as automatic speech recognition (ASR), is a feature of Speech Services that provides transcription. I just took the exam today 8/19/2022.
The main keywords here Translator service are now replaced by "Language Service". So I got confused on the last question and to my understanding based on the exam, the "language service" covers as a whole (NLP, Speech, QnA Maker, Text service) all related past questions from exam topics. So for this particular question. I answered YYY.
I still managed to pass the exam with the score of 916/1000.
Translator service still seems to exist: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/ai-services/translator/translator-overview
But it is true that many services changed names and are aggregated what makes it confusing.
This should be YYY. If you go to the website mentioned in the answer (https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/services/cognitive-services/speech-to-text/#overview) the very first thing the page says is "Quickly and accurately transcribe audio to text in more than 100 languages and variants."
This should be correct, because you require Speech first in addition to convert audio to text, see more details here: https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/services/cognitive-services/speech-translation/#features
