You have a Hyper-V host named Server 1. The network adapters on Server1 have single root I/O virtualization (SR-IOV) enabled.
Server1 hosts a virtual machine named VM1 that runs Windows Server 2016.
You need to identify whether SR-IOV is used by VM1.
Solution: You sign in to VM1. You open Device Manager and view the properties of the network adapters.

the answer is B)NO "ACCELERATED NETWORKING" ENABLES SINGLE ROOT I/O VIRTUALIZATION (SR-IOV) to a VM, greatly improving its networking performance.... Deployment through Azure Resource Manager: Virtual machines (classic) CAN'T BE deployed with ACCELERATED NETWORKING (SR-IOV) VM creation using the portal: ... you can also use the Azure portal to create a virtual machine that enables accelerated networking... URL: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/virtual-network/create-vm-accelerated-networking-powershell I understand that SR-IOV is used by a VM, but that's on the cloud with Azure. It's not in a typical server with a virtual machine in your on-premise network. It is only possible with VMs inside Azure VMs. I am considering this scenario without considering Azure. Coleman considered Azure for this case, but I don't think that's what Microsoft wants to tell us. So the answer is B)NO

I think this one should be yes. It's enabled on the host and if you go to Device Man > NetAdapter > Properties > Advanced it says " The following properties are availible to this network adapter". If it's enabled on the host it should be availible to it, we just need to check if its on or not in this scenario. Therefore it should show in this list. Unfortunately I don't have an adapter that supports it so this is the best I can come up with.

In the youtube video above, he goes into the Advanced tab, and there is no mention of SR-IOV.

l1f3rl , thank you for finding this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QZ-0sNj3pxk - Propreties / Details / Hardware Ids. I reviewed your attached video, the hardware ID only tell you the type of hardware infor not if the sr-iov is active. The video shows sr-iov being active or not comes from reviewing the Hyper-v virtual switch settings/tab networking, not device manager. I believe the answer is correct NO

But if you see the links that Person provided, it shows that SR-IOV is Enabled/Disabled in "Advanced" tab of network adapter which can be found in device manager. Then why not?

Person's link doesn't say if screenshot of Advanced tab is on Host or VM. In youtube video, we see Advanced tab in VM, and there is no SR-IOV in the list. My guess is screenshot in Person's link is from the Host machine.

I think the correct answer i A.-Yes. My Laptop didn't support SR-Iov, so I cant check in "Device Manager\network adapter\properties\avanced options" value for SR-Iov. Surging the web, I found image of computers that supports SR-Iov, and here we can check if SR-Iov is supported and also we can change the value. https://blogs.technet.microsoft.com/arnaud/2012/10/17/sr-iov-en-pratique-dans-windows-server-2012/ Page 9: https://www.intel.com/content/dam/www/public/us/en/documents/technology-briefs/ethernet-sr-iov-microsoft-windows-brief.pdf https://docs.mellanox.com/display/winof2v220/Virtualization For me this answer is A.-Yes.
