Given answers are correct. [1] Planning Optimization - Auto-firming is based on the order date (start date). Master planning engine - Auto-firming is based on the requirement date (end date). [3] Master Planning > Master Planning > Run > Master Planning, If Automatic copy is enabled in the parameters, the system will copy the regenerated static plan data to the dynamic plan after the run completes.

Q1 = Planning optimization & Master planning. With master planning, planned orders can be firmed during a plan run when the date is within the time fence for firming. When a master plan is run that uses Planning Optimization, the auto-firming process is automatically enabled.

Hi I have just tested Automatic firming time fence (days) = 1 day running standard MRP engine. Orderdate was 7-10-2021, requirement date was 18-10-2021 - today's date is 10-10-2021. The planned order was autofirmed....correct answer is "Planning optimization and master planning".
