I guess it means D365 is a data source for power apps. We don't need store product information in Power Apps

Virtual entity, data is still in D365 SCM. My answer 1- D365 SCM 2- Dual-Write (Between mobile App or D365 SCM to DataVerse, it is dual-write with integrator build-in, no code needed.

Dual write integrator is two packages, one is solution core, one is orchestration package - right now can be separately to be small package, not full package. and link two application ID to setup dual-write, then make CRUD integrator for production master data.

PowerApps are not for storing. CDS (DataVerse) is the storage. Integration can be dual write

(or virtual entities, dual write has offline capabilities, virtual entities has better integration into CE, so in this case I think dual write is a better solution)
