Agreed. Power Automate provides a number of connectors that can be used to integrate Dynamics 365 with various third-party systems and databases

I think first ans should be 'No' as to connect external system you need to use code. PowerApps connector can not connect thirdparty DB

I think so too. Especially as the question says "Sync" and not "Export". Even if you can connect to a third party DB by a custom connector this would need complex logic so you dont create loops with no ends and to solve any sync problems.

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-automate/gateway-reference Odata in CDS can use gateway with CRUD(Create-read-update-delete) function when you use power platform to exchane via gateway.

That refers to D365 on-prem data being sync to D365 Cloud. Nothing to do with an "external" database. Also would require local app/plug-in installation. This article is unrelated.

1st one is NO - Dynamics 365 Sales provides several features and tools to facilitate data integration and exchange with external systems, including third-party databases. But here they say The company does not plan to use any development tools or plug-ins.

No-Yes. In theory, we can sync Dynamics 365 to third party DB, but it will need coding. As the question said "the company does not plan to use any development tools or plug-ins", the answer must be "No" in first question.

No u can't in 1st since no development is required. Microsoft sys- Sometimes you’ll need to synchronize and integrate Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (on-premises) data with data that is stored in other systems. The common data integration patterns include taking data from an external system and pushing it into Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (on-premises), taking data from Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (on-premises) and synchronizing it to some external data store, or updating Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (on-premises) with external data. You can now use several new capabilities to make it easier to write code to achieve these scenarios.

It's quite disturbing that the answers are not accurate. For example on this question even the user comments are unclear... From my point of view 2nd question is yes since power automate is not consider to be a developing tool and definitely is not a plugin. The 1st question though is not clear. Even if there is a free connector (e.g sql server) dont you need to use t-sql script to fetch the required data? I am not experienced on this part though so i might be mistaken.

For #1, there's out of the box connectors for Oracle, MySql, PostgreSQL, and Micrsoft's SQL Server (and I think I missed some) so I'm assuming it's yes because you can just use an already existing connector.

First one should be a "No", unless some technical development is allowed.

database? Get started with Dynamics 365 Marketing If you have contact data stored in a 3rd party system that you would like to sync with Dynamics 365 contacts, we can build an integration to sync that data and ensure it is clean moving forward.

Can someone confirm the answer. I believe both should be NO. You cannot connect to external system without code(you need to use dev tools/plugins) . For second, you need to use PowerAutomate Flow, is it again not a development tool?. So I believe both should be NO.

But this link is about programming solution. And we have "The company does not plan to use any development tools or plug-ins" in question.
