At first I thought it could be both Cosmos and Synapse. But reading again; they're asking for a datawarehouse, not a database, so that leaves Synapse as the only suitable solution.

Cosmos DB is already part of the Data Source. Azure Data Factory extracts, cleans, and present the data for storage & analysis. Azure Synapse Analytics does the analytics.

its a replacement all in one OLAP (Data Warehouse) for SSAS. MS have felt the need to rebrand stuff for the shiny cloud replacement.

Agree with the answer. Data Factory process the data from different sources by ETL, output data to Synapse for DWHS.
