I agree. There is a note in your shared link " Note Users or groups need access to both the SharePoint Online page and the report in the Power BI app to see the report on the SharePoint page."

Correct answer is A. You must publish an App in the app workspace. Then add user to the App, if user is not yet member of app workspace. Answer D is incorrect. Why...if you just modify members in the app workspace (add user to app workspace), user still can't see report in Share point. You must publish an App in order to see report in SharePoint page. We have two options to provide report access in Power BI (and SharePoint page). 1. If we are using classic workspace, which is based on Office 365 Group, then we can just add user to workspace and SharePoint page. 2. If we are using new workspace (app workspace), then we must add user to app workspace, publish an app and add user to SharePoint page. It says that you can see the report in the sharepoint page so it has been published already. The answer should be D.

The User1 is not a viewer or member of the workspace where the report is located so he can't see it. D is correct

When I read the solution given in the link I think answer is D. We need to change permission of the user by managing user https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/msoffice/forum/all/powerbi-this-content-isnt-available-on-sharepoint/c000a738-28d9-411c-8809-5b9705cf3bd3

Correct answer is: D. Modify the members.... Microsoft official book states the following: "If a user has access to a SharePoint Online site page that contains a Power BI report, the user does not automatically have access to the report. If you do not have access to a report, the report will not load, and you might see the message shown in Figure 3-21." "Report security is managed in Power BI service. There are two ways to grant a user access to an embedded report. First, if you use an Office 365 group for your SharePoint Online team site, you can add a user to the app workspace of the report; doing so will grant the user access to all contents of the workspace. Second, you can share a report directly by navigating to the report and clicking Share in the top-right corner" A) You do not need to publish. B) You have a report, not a Dashboard. C) Does not apply. D) This would be the first of the 2 options mentioned.

I think the correct answer is B Reason for not choosing A and B ("Publish the app" , D-"Add as a member to app workspace" ) is that both the options will give access to all the content of the workspace . Though both of them are correct ways of giving access rights for repor on Sharepoint . But both these options will give access to all the contect under that workspace . The other way to share a report is to go to report individually and share it with user . In the case of this question option B - share dashboard . on sharing dashboard , underlying reports also gets shared to the user automatically . So the Option B is correct . REFERENCES : 1. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/service-embed-report-spo but here sharing specific dashboard/Report is not mentioned . But adding to workspace and Publishing app is mentioned 2. Microsoft Book - EXAM Ref 70-778 here sharing dashboard to enable permission for sharepoint embedded report is mentioned

Please recheck your answer. You can not share a Dashboard the same way you can share a Report. When you share a report, you get a link that you can copy and paste into Sharepoint. However, when you share a Dashboard, you do not get any link. That is why B is wrong to me...

D seems correct ! https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/service-embed-report-spo#reports-that-do-not-load Click on the link to the part where Microsoft docs explain that if a user receive a “This content isn’t available” message in the given situation, it is very likely to be because you do not have a report access! Granting access is to be done by upgrading the user to a member of the workspace where the embedded dashboard is ! A. is irrelevant to me because you create, edit or modify an app workspace. B. is also irrelevant because it is assumed to be done, as an embedded code was generated since the creator can see the dashboard displaying correctly C. the Web part settings only allows you to set the page name, the display format and the items displayed (filter pane or navigation pane). Hence also irrelevant in the given situation. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/service-embed-report-spo#web-part-settings

D is the correct answer A will not grant user1 view from SharePoint Online but it will give him access from app so the solution is to list the user as a member of the workspace within the Power BI service. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/service-embed-report-spo#grant-access-to-reports

You embed a Power BI report in a Microsoft SharePoint Online page..This basically means the report has been published , so why publish again..
