I am assuming that a training session will change the training environment - i.e - students do hands-on activity that changes data . Under that assumption, we need to take the snapshots and create the custom image before we deliver the first training session. So, the answer should be: Build Snapshot Custom Image Deliver Training Shutdown and Delete the VM

The objective is make 10 training sessions for the same TEAM. the question talk about first training session, dont talk about sessions for other team. "the actions be performed for the first training session". Build, deliver, takesnap, customimege, shutdown.

I would not do do that! During the training someone can mess up the environment then you save that state. Build Snapshot Custom Image Deliver Training Shutdown and Delete the VM With this you have the clean setup.

First build the landscape - it is required to take a snapshot next-- then from snapshot create the custom image ---- which will be reused for future re-use...... after the image ready - you can HO for training to start, when done - shutdown and delete the landscape to save cost....and then later next time we can re-build from the custom image created .

Agree, the snapshot will be taken on a clean training machines. If you take the snapshot after the training is done, you will have dirty machines (has training data which most probably is not useful for next training since every training needs to start with clean machine with new training data).

1. Take Snapshot of the virtual machine 2. Create a custom image by using the snapshot 3. Build the training landscape 4. Deliver the training 5. Shut down and delete the virtual machines Where did you get this information? any link?

As question says" Minimize cost". so if we take snapshot before 1st training, the cost for those many days of training will increase. e.g. if training is 20 days then extra cost for 20 days for snapshots, image storage cost

Hi, you mean that the snapshots&images are taken during every training(e.g 20 days)? I think this question does not ask running cost, but initiating cost. because there is not any requirements to restore landscape. for "Minimize the effort", we should take images to simplify creating landscape for 10 times a year. for "Minimize costs", we should delete the landscape after a training session. Even though you want to save the running cost, you should consider stopping the VMs on the night during a training(e.g 20 days) at first.
