Connectors are simply abstractions of an underlying API. Power Apps CAN call connectors so the answer is correct. This is a good example: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/connectors/custom-connectors/use-custom-connector-powerapps

You don't call a connector, if you could then the answer 'Gateway' would be appropriate too. A PowerApp can call a flow...

Opting for this. You call flows (connectors are just "linked" to the app and their components can be "called" by the app. For the second I would say connector. Flows have 1 trigger and several actions.

I am going with 1. Flow, 2. Flow. A trigger is an event that starts a flow. An action is a step in a flow that performs a specific operation.

CoPilot says - For the first part a power apps app can call on either a Connector, Flow or Gateway. So this part of the question is too ambiguous. For the second part the answer is Connectors.

Why is there so much dispute around most of the answers? For example there are two different answers below that are highly voted and they both differ from the answer suggested above. Why can't ExamTopics do something to avoid our confusion?

1. flow 2. connector Triggers and actions are the primary building blocks in Power Automate. Each trigger or action represents an API that can be used to interact with a specific data source. Triggers and actions are both defined and contained in connectors.

a) FLOW: A Power Apps app can call(trigger) a flow eg to send an email, create or update a record etc b) Actions and triggers are properties of connectors-Each connector offers a set of operations classified as actions and triggers. Once you connect to the underlying service, these operations can be easily leveraged within your apps and workflows. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/connectors/connectors

as Powerapps connectors are API's, the call the connector. As actions are steps a flow takes after receiving a trigger, flow is correct for 2

2 is connectors. Short read on why triggers and actions are part of connectors: "connector provides the following triggers..." (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-automate/dataverse/overview)
