Suggested Answer:
Box 1: Set-OrganizationConfig -PublicFoldersEnabled Remote
Finalize the public folder migration (downtime required) First, run the following cmdlet to change the Exchange 2016 deployment type to Remote:
Set-OrganizationConfig -PublicFoldersEnabled Remote
Once that is done, you can complete the public folder migration by running the following command:
Complete-MigrationBatch PublicFolderMigration
Box 2: Set-OrganizationConfig -PublicFolderMigrationComplete:$true
On the legacy Exchange server, run the following command to indicate that the public folder migration is complete:
Set-OrganizationConfig -PublicFolderMigrationComplete:$true

no, it is OK as suggested.. (there is no PublicFolderEnabled in the procedure, only PublicFoldersEnabled) the two steps: On the Exchange 2010 server, run the following command to indicate that the public folder migration is complete: Set-OrganizationConfig -PublicFolderMigrationComplete:$true After you've verified that the migration is complete, on the Exchange 2016 server, run the following command: Set-OrganizationConfig -PublicFoldersEnabled Local https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/exchange/collaboration/public-folders/batch-migration-from-previous-versions?view=exchserver-2016

2nd box is complete wrong there is no PublicFolderComplete switch. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powershell/module/exchange/set-organizationconfig?view=exchange-ps Right answer here: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/exchange-team-blog/migration-to-modern-public-folders-notes-from-the-field/ba-p/605703

I disagree with you. There is a PublicFolderMigrationComplete switch: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powershell/module/exchange/set-organizationconfig?view=exchange-ps In this document, the procedure is described and both commands appear: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/Exchange/collaboration/public-folders/batch-migration-from-previous-versions?redirectedfrom=MSDN&view=exchserver-2016 So, in my opinion the answer is correct.
