Correct Storage Spaces Direct (S2D) in Azure supports a cluster with resilience options such as "three-way mirroring" when there are at least five nodes. In an eight-node S2D cluster, the default configuration allows for the failure of up to half of the nodes in the cluster, ensuring data availability. With three-way mirroring, an eight-node cluster can sustain up to four node failures simultaneously without data loss or losing access to the FSLogix profiles. Thus, users in Pool1 will retain access to their profiles as long as no more than four nodes fail at the same time.
