You have an Azure Virtual Desktop host pool named Pool1.

You have an Azure Compute Gallery that contains an image. The image contains the resources shown in the following table.

Pool1 contains a single session host named SH1.

You need to deploy a new session host named SH2 that will be used to perform troubleshooting. The solution must meet the following requirements:

• SH2 must use image version 0.0.1.
• Administrative effort must be minimized.

Which two actions should you perform in order? To answer, select the appropriate options in the answer area.

NOTE: Each correct selection is worth one point.

First action: Build a new VM named SH2 by using image version 0.0.1. Why? This ensures that SH2 is created using the specific image version (0.0.1) as required, enabling you to leverage the Azure Compute Gallery’s existing images. Second action: From Pool1, deploy a new session host. Why? By deploying SH2 directly into Pool1 as a session host, the requirement of adding SH2 to the AVD host pool is being fulfilled, which minimizes additional administrative steps. This approach assumes that Azure Virtual Desktop agents will automatically be installed when the session host is added, eliminating the need for manual installation.

I think setting the 0.0.2 image to exclusion and then just deploying a new host would be less Administrative effort than specifically building a new session host using a specific image.

Exclude image version 0.0.2 from being the latest: By setting Exclude from latest to Yes for image version 0.0.2, you ensure that image version 0.0.1 will be used as the default image when deploying a new session host. From Pool1, deploy a new session host: Once image version 0.0.2 is excluded from the latest, you can deploy a new session host from Pool1, which will automatically use image version 0.0.1. Reasoning: Minimized Administrative Effort: Excluding the newer image version from being the latest reduces the manual effort required to specify the image version during deployment. Efficiency: Deploying directly from Pool1 ensures the new session host is seamlessly integrated into the existing environment.

1 Build a new VM named SH2 by using image version 0.0.1: This ensures that SH2 is created using the specific image version (0.0.1) from the Azure Compute Gallery. 2 Use the registration key to join SH2 to Pool1: This step ensures that SH2 is correctly added to the host pool and that the Azure Virtual Desktop agents are installed and configured automatically.
