The answers are correct. migration -> asr not recommended by azure. asr is for disaster recovery. it s not because they have asr than you have to choose this solution. Box 1: Create an Azure Migrate Project Box 2: Create a collector virtual machine

I Agree. Scenario: Migrate the virtual machines hosted on Server1 and Server2 to Azure. Server2 has the Hyper-V host role. Correct Answer: Azure Migrate Project Create a Collector Explanation: Box 1: Migrate Service is to do this, Recovery Services vault is only Disaster Recovery purpose only. Ignore my first response. 1. It seems like the question is wanting us to use Azure Site recovery for Migration. In that case BOX 1 = CREATE AND RECOVERY SERVICES VAULT BOX 2 = INSTALL THE AZURE SITE RECOVERY PROVIDER https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/site-recovery/hyper-v-azure-tutorial

What makes you say that? The plan for Server2 is to migrate to Azure, that's it. Task is to prepare environment to implement the planned change. No where does it hint that it needs to be doing using ASR. Please explain

When we use ASR, answer and explanation is correct. If we use, Azure Migrate. We may have to deploy a Collector VM on Server2 (Hyper-V Host).

This question may be outdated. Currently it is stated to use Azure Migrate for migration purposes not only of VMs but also on-prem servers. "Current version: Use this version to create Azure Migrate projects, discover on-premises machines, and orchestrate assessments and migrations."

No need to create RSVault as you can use Azure migrate for migration. ASR is no more recommended for migration.
