You have a Power BI tenant that contains a workspace. The workspace contains a dataset named datasetA.

You need to build a pivot table report in Microsoft Excel. The report must use datasetA as the data source. The solution must meet the following requirements:

• Ensure that the report can be refreshed to get the latest available data from the Power BI service.
• Ensure that all the visible data in datasetA is available for use in Excel.

What should you do to connect Excel to datasetA, and which element in datasetA will be incompatible with the Excel connection? To answer, select the appropriate options in the answer area.

NOTE: Each correct selection is worth one point.

Use a live connection & Report Measures. According to the documentation here: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/collaborate-share/service-analyze-in-excel#export-to-excel-with-live-connection Excerpts: "- Export to Excel with live connection While viewing a Power BI visual, you may want to further explore the visual data in Excel and keep the data connected. You can export a table of refreshable data from a Power BI visual to Excel." & "If you use the Export with live connection option to export data from a visual in that report, the measures that you added won't be available in the data you export to Excel."

Report Measures is the correct answer: Report measures in Power BI are often incompatible with Excel connections when using a live connection because they are tightly integrated with specific visualizations and context in Power BI. While basic measures will work, report-level measures, especially those related to specific visual filters or slicers in Power BI reports, may not transfer correctly into Excel.

Field Parameters are incompatible in Excel from powerbi datasets. Those field parameters allow users to dynamically change the field/data. You cannot use PBI dataset parameters in Anlayze in Excel. You can use the implicit and explicit measures that were created in PowerBi dataset.
