create a DFS namespace named "documents" and within the documents namespace create 2 folders: marketing and sales; then Marketing has to be pointed at \\SRV1\marketing, Sales has to point at \\SRV1\sales; this way users will access "\\contoso.com\documents\marketing" and "\\contoso.com\documents\sales". This is a good way to expose all the fileshares located in different servers from 1 single location

It is related to DFS Namespaces: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server/storage/dfs-namespaces/dfs-overview

Agreed, the correct process is to create a DFS namespace called documents, and add the shares to it.

Answer is incorrect. The question states there are already two shares from SRV1, therefore there is no need to re-create the file shares again. What you want to do is to make sure when client browse to \\contoso\document\%sharename% they end up accessing the respective shares from SRV1. This involves making changes to domain controllers. Reason being is that when client try to access \\contoso.com, they will end up accessing domain controllers because the domain name contoso.com points to all domain controllers of that domain. Effectively you will need to create a share named "document" on domain controller, within the share create two shortcuts that points to \\SRV1\%sharename% respectively.
