Again we have to guess from the choices given to us that the NAT gateway is supposed to use PIP1, this should be part of the instructions...

Using the steps found in https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/nat-gateway/tutorial-migrate-ilip-nat The given answers are incomplete. It should be: Disassociate PIP1 from NIC1 Change the PIP1 SKU to Standard Associate PIP1 with Gateway1

I think the point of this question is to reinforce that a NAT gateway can't be associated with a subnet that has recourses using public IPs with Basic sku's

why would we associate the PIP to NIC again ? we want to use Nat GW not a direct PIP.

Given answer is right.Nat Gateway doesn't accept private IPs with Basic SKU. Hence, need to upgrade it to Standard
