I can confirm it is D. I could not check that in my dummy tenant as I have no devices so asked my husband to check his production Intune and under Apps\Monitor\App Protection status, there is a column Management Type and there it tells you "managed" or "unmanaged" which was the key to the question to check if the device is enrolled or not
Management type column under Apps>Monitor>App Protection Status shows the "All App types" the ones you have selected to be protected in the user's device. It doesn't show "managed" or "unmanaged".
Option D (Apps, and then Monitor) might seem like a logical choice, but it doesn’t provide the specific report needed here. To identify devices not enrolled in Microsoft Intune but assigned an app protection policy, you should go to Apps > App protection policies in the Intune admin center (Option B). From there, you can access detailed reports that show information about such devices.
App Protection Policies (APPs):
APPs are used to protect company data on devices that are managed and unmanaged.
Reports about app protection policies typically focus on devices where these policies are applied, including unmanaged ones.
Devil is in the details: You need to download a report that lists all the devices that are NOT enrolled in Microsoft Intune and are assigned an app protection policy.
Only in Monitor you can use a filter. So it is D.
D. Apps, and then Monitor.
This option allows you to monitor apps, including app protection policies. By selecting "Monitor" under the "Apps" section, you can access insights and reports related to app protection policies, which should include information about devices that are assigned these policies but are not enrolled in Intune.
D is still correct from APPS then MONITOR then APP PROTECTION STATUS you can filter for "unmanaged" devices and see al the unmanaged decices that have a policy assigned
B is correct

D, Apps and Monitor section. "App Protection Status' monitor will show the Management Type as "Unmanaged" and you can come to the list using unmanaged filter.
D. Apps, and then Monitor
You can check if an App Protection policy is assigned and verify if a device is enrolled in Intune. It's the only option that can confirm both on a single dashboard. You need to modify the columns but that's expected if you're looking for a granular report such as this.
