The thing is that, actually we use conditional access policy to use Network location and Compliancy of device as grant control, this option is not available in Compliance policy settings page and since we are using conditional access policy, it works for all the platforms.

Locate device - The following platforms support the Locate device capability: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/intune/remote-actions/device-locate#supported-platforms Android Enterprise – Applicable to dedicated devices, fully-managed, and corporate-owned work profile devices. Requires the device to run Google Play Services version 20.06.16 or later and have Location services turned on and "Google Location Accuracy" enabled. The "Google Location Accuracy" setting can be found under Settings > Location > Location Services. Corporate-owned work profile devices running Android 12 or above require the end user to grant Intune app location permission by going to Settings > Apps > Intune (in the Work tab) > Permissions > Location > Allow all the time. iOS/iPadOS 9.3 and later - Requires the device to be in supervised mode, and be in lost mode. Windows 10: Version 20H2 (10.0.19042.789) or later Version 2004 (10.0.19041.789) or later Version 1909 (10.0.18363.1350) or later Version 1809 (10.0.17763.1728) or later Windows 11 All I could find

Selected Answer: A
Network location-based compliance policies in Microsoft Intune require the device to support location-based compliance checks. Currently, this functionality is supported only on Windows devices. Android and iOS devices cannot enforce compliance policies based on network location. Therefore, only Device1, which is running Windows 10, can use location-based compliance policies.

A. Device1 only Device1, being a Windows 10 device, can use network location-based compliance policies. Device2 and Device3, being an Android device administrator and an iOS device, respectively, do not support this feature.

Microsoft Intune supports network location-based compliance policies on both Windows and Android devices. Since all three devices (Device1, Device2, and Device3) fall under these supported platforms, they can all use network location-based compliance policies. Therefore, the correct answer is: E. Device1, Device2, and Device3

I have searched high and low, can't see a location blade/option in Intune compliance policies. Where can I find the fencing options?

I wrote a similar comment on a similar question. There was supposed to be a "location" policy under the compliance policy blade, but that's not the case. All I can find is under conditional access, there is a "name location" policy, once a name policy is created it can be used in a conditional access policy, cannot find anything in a compliance policy

Network location-based compliance policies can be used on the following devices: Android devices running Android 6.0 or later iOS devices running iOS 10 or later macOS devices running macOS 10.12 or later Windows devices running Windows 10 or later To use network location-based compliance policies, you must first create a network location. A network location is a defined area, such as a company's office or a home network. Once you have created a network location, you can create a compliance policy that is based on the network location. The compliance policy can be used to enforce security settings or to block access to certain resources.
