BC is correct: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/field-service/configure-incident-types "The duration for this incident type: If related service tasks have a duration, the incident type duration is the sum of the service task durations. A work order duration is the sum of all incident durations. You can only set an estimated duration, if no service task gets added or the added service tasks have no duration set." D: in case the service tasks have a duration B: in case there is no duration on the service tasks

there are no "services" records - not at all. I can find a 'services tab' and what i add here are Incident Type Service records, which have a lookup on (wow!) 'services' but then when i double check it actually is etn=product. So its product entity. the frustrating part is the wild cacophony of 'slang' words used to describe something (entity) that is not what it actually is. like a wild orchestra where everyone instruments his own percussion.

when i add time to msdyn_incidenttypeservice, there is no update to Estimated Duration B and D is my guess
