A&B - each of them is part of the of the complete solution, but it asks "Each correct answer presents a complete solution". So, I think it is B&D.

I guess the given answer is correct - because it has asked two possible ways so either after QA or before prod, we assume the feature to invoke the REST API is already there

I actually implemented this solution for DocuSign integration using A and B. It would be so interesting if the answer to the question is B&D.

Answer is B and D. Why ? You need a gate for Service Now. This can be either after QA, so post deployment, or before production, so pre-deployment.

Here are the links that explain why B and D. You can do pre and post deployment approvals for Service Now integrations as well. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/devops/pipelines/release/?view=azure-devops https://developer.harness.io/docs/first-gen/continuous-delivery/model-cd-pipeline/workflows/service-now-integration/

Answer is correct. You can use pre-deployment gate in production stage or post-deployment gate in QA stage. Both are a complete solution https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/devops/pipelines/release/approvals/servicenow

After reading the documentation (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/devops/pipelines/release/approvals/servicenow) and ALL the comments, I feel that the given answer is correct. The solution can be achieved by post deploy gate to QA or a pre-deploy gate to prod. Both of these will have the same effect. I cant see anything in the document about needing to make API calls, either rest or SOAP so it is actually straightforward if not for all the confusion in the comments.
