You have an Azure subscription that contains multiple virtual machine scale sets and multiple Azure load balancers. The load balancers balance traffic across the scale sets.

You plan to deploy Azure Front Door to load balance traffic across the load balancers.

You need to identify which Front Door SKU to configure, and what to use to route the traffic to the load balancers. The solution must minimize costs.

What should you identify? To answer, select the appropriate options in the answer area.

NOTE: Each correct selection is worth one point.

Premium SKU is the only tier which includes private link. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/frontdoor/standard-premium/tier-comparison

yeah I think you're right, and this is the possible solution the question is referring to.. "Connect Azure Front Door Premium to an internal load balancer origin with Private Link" https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/frontdoor/standard-premium/how-to-enable-private-link-internal-load-balancer

Not sure if the question is framed right. Found this in the FAQ. Azure Front Door Standard, Premium and (classic) tier requires a public IP or publicly resolvable DNS name to route traffic to backend resources. Azure resources such as Application Gateways or Azure Load Balancers can enable routing to resources within a virtual network. If you're using a Front Door Premium tier, you can enable Private Link to connect to origins behind an internal load balancer over a private endpoint.

Premium Azure private link u need premium to use private link with front door When you enable Private Link to your origin in Azure Front Door Premium, Front Door creates a private endpoint on your behalf from an Azure Front Door managed regional private network. you can then map it to the Load balancers and eventually the scale sets https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/frontdoor/private-link

SKU: To minimize costs, you should select Standard instead of Premium. The Standard SKU offers global load balancing, content acceleration, and routing options that should suffice for the given scenario. Use: To route traffic to the load balancers, you'll typically use A service endpoint, as it provides a cost-effective way to integrate and route traffic between Azure services like load balancers.

I agree for the first part, but none of the options for the second part is needed. For Azure Front Door, service endpoints aren’t typically necessary as it primarily interacts with public-facing endpoints. If the LBs are not internal, then we don't need to use anything from the second list. If the LBs are internal then Premium with Private Link.
