Yes and No. You can send a copy of a cloud flow to another user, who can then use the definition of the flow as a template. It provides a good way for you to share the general structure of a cloud flow without sharing any connections, while also allowing the recipient to modify their flow independently of yours, so they can make it fit their needs. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-automate/create-team-flows

You are using copy not original copy, it might be exactly the same but it is still not original flow, so first one is no.

Both answers are NO, you do not get access to original flow, you get access to COPY of the original flow. So you cannot edit original flow or share original flow you can doo all ths things with copy of the original flow, but that is not the question

@rnmeg - usually agree with you - but you do not even have the original flow in this scenario - you are given a copy of a flow - you never even have the original flow

Yes, Yes. you can create a new flow based on that copy. This allows you to have a separate instance of the flow with its own configuration, and you can make modifications to this new instance without affecting the original flow. Additionally, you can still modify the original flow if needed, and changes made to one instance do not automatically reflect in the other. This flexibility allows users to customize and adapt flows based on their specific requirements without impacting the shared or original version.

How do I edit a flow in power app? Edit an existing flow Under the In your app section of the Power Automate pane, select ... (ellipsis) to the right of a flow. Select Edit. The flow opens inside the editor. Make your changes, and then select Save. Important. To avoid losing unsaved changes, ensure you select Save before closing the editor.

Yes, you can create a new flow that is a copy of the original flow by selecting the 'Save As' option. Yes, you can modify the original flow as long as you have the appropriate permissions and access to the flow. but, assuming you dont have the permissions, #2 is no

Second is No. In the question it says 'You receive a copy of a Power Automate cloud flow from a colleague.' So it does not have the permissions.

Also when you receive a copy, you can never modify the original version.
