7/19/23 Yes, LUIS , QnA Maker, and Text Analytics were replaced with CLU, so you can't create new resources for them, but they will exist in legacy systems and they don't retire until Oct 2025. So MS Docs still references them in some docs.

Even though LUIS is scheduled to be retired and separate services are now consolidated under Azure AI Language umbrella, curriculum of both AI 900 and AI 102 are not updated as such to reflect exclusion of LUIS and other language services. So better to still learn these services.

LUIS will be retired on October 1st 2025 and starting April 1st 2023 you will not be able to create new LUIS resources. We recommend migrating your LUIS applications to conversational language understanding to benefit from continued product support and multilingual capabilities.
