The first name after SOA (mars.example.com) is the name of the primary master name server for the movie.edu zone. The second name (pluto.example.com) is the mail address of the person in charge of the zone if you replace the first "." with an "@". While this field uses unusual dot separators (the @ symbol has special significance in a zone as described earlier) to define the e-mail address, in the case of the example file, mail will be sent to [email protected]. In DNS jargon this is known as the RNAME field.
