A and C are the correct answers. B: It's not effective because some snort rules may be located in different files (check snort.conf) D: It's going to deactive all rules located into the rules file. See: https://www.snort.org/faq/readme-decoder_preproc_rules "To disable any rule, just comment it with a ‘#’ or remove the rule completely from the file (commenting is recommended)."
